Precious Metal offers a complete service to classic car owners including regular servicing, accident repairs, electrical, mechanical and MOT work.

MOT Work

We will take your vehicle in and perform an advisory check prior to booking your MOT and undertake all and any works that may be needed to secure a test pass certificate. We might even get Colin G to wash it for you. :)

Servicing

A minor service includes replacement of :

• Oil Strainer & Oil
• Spark Plugs
• Condenser
• Points
• Fuel Filters
• and a general condition check and assessment.

As well as the above, a major service can include:

• Remove, strip, check and reassemble full braking system
• Wear check of steering box, balljoints and idler pin - replacement if necessary
• Electrical system check for abrasion, deterioration, clean contacts, replace bad earths
• Check and set valve clearances, engine timing and tune
• We can guarrantee we'll get your heater working!
• and we'll also grease your nipples ;)

Welding

Precious Metal can undertake all levels of welding work from minor MOT repairs to panel replacement and full restoration services.

Accident Repairs

Wether a minor scratch or a door dent in a car park or something more serious such as crash damage, bodywork takes skill. We can offer a full bodywork service from metalwork through to prep and paint.
