Proprietor Nigel Storer first took an interest in classic Volkswagens at the age of 14 and over the last two decades this has grown into an obsession and then a profession. Trained as a mechanical engineer, Nigel expanded his skills working in a bodyshop perfecting panel beating and fabrication before opening a workshop of his own offering mechanical servicing and restoration in 2003.

As we move into a new decade Precious Metal has grown into a thriving mechanical workshop, restoration service, custom and classic Volkswagen specialists, recommended throughout the UK owners and clubs scene.
